ACT 4 Summary

Act four begins with Macbeth going to the witches to get a new prophecy. With the witches Macbeth recieves three apparitions. After he hears from them he makes the decision to kill Macduff's family. Ross warns Lady Macduff of Macbeth's plans, so she tries to flee to England, but she waas caught and killed. Macduff and Malcom run into each other and test each other and then decide that Macduff will attack/kill Macbeth, and Malcom will become the new king. At the end of the act the Scottish troops are gathering for the attack of Macbeth's castle.
